Karem Belalcazar, a native of Colombia, kicked off her modeling career at the age of seven, became a successful model, trained other aspiring models throughout her teens; and now, for nearly two decades, she’s made a name for herself in the worlds of modeling, fashion, and magazine publishing.

As a former executive of the highly successful fashion publication In the Spotlight Magazine, Karem’s multi-faceted role allowed her to gain tremendous experience in all areas of producing a fashion magazine. From model recruitment, to content development, photo shoot coordination, project management, vendor negotiation, coordination of freelance writers and photographers, and to ad sales and sales negotiations, it was only natural that Karem would launch her own publication, MyCULTURE.
After spending a lifetime of modeling, training models, creating content, selling advertising, promoting and selling, Karem realized that it was time to create an all-inclusive firm—KB1111 Inc.
KB1111 Inc., located in the heart of New York City’s Fashion District, is a modeling agency that provides extensive training for emerging faces, while managing the careers of existing models. With the fusion of KB1111 Models and myCULTURE magazine, she’s able to promote her models to magazine sponsors, thus making the agency a “back bone” to her entire corporate infrastructure.
